Rhode Island Oral Health Foundation to schedule free dental clinic for uninsured and needy patients in June.
Mission of Mercy free dental clinic will be held by Rhode Island Oral Health Foundation for the fifth time.
Free dental clinic open its doors at 6 a.m. each day on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday June 5 at the Community College of Rhode Island’s Flanagan Campus in Lincoln.
Patients who need free dental services are seen on a first come, first served basis until the clinic reaches capacity.
Free dental services include oral cleanings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants, x-rays, oral health education, dental fillings, tooth extractions, some root canal treatments and minor denture repairs.
Mission of Mercy free dental clinic is sponsored by Delta Dental of Rhode Island and the Community College of Rhode Island.

Last year’s Mission of Mercy free dental clinic offered free dental services to 774 patients between the ages of two and 90.
More than 625 dental and medical volunteers provided about 3,400 free dental treatments and procedures during the two day event.
